Each teacher has completed an intensive advanced course of instruction, lasting up to six months, in residence.

Maharishi trained more than 40,000 people to teach the TM technique; many of them attended training courses in the early 1970s.

From 1970 through 1973 in the United States, Maharishi held several courses with many thousands of participants at Humboldt State College in northern California, and at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. The course schedules allowed ample time for participants to ask Maharishi questions about anything and everything: from the deep mechanics of meditation and the nature of higher states of consciousness to the role of art and science in society and the value of meditation in relationships.

In the above short video clip, Maharishi talks about how meditation enhances, and ultimately brings to fulfillment, relationships.
