Amy and her design partner Percy Parker, who also practices the TM technique, created the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ppqclothing.com\/biography\/\">fashion label PPQ<\/a> in 1992\u00a0developing a design style that continues to set trends for London\u2019s fashion scene.\u00a0They have designed dresses for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm1092227\/\">Sienna Miller<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000379\/\">Kirsten Dunst<\/a>, Rihanna, Peaches Geldof, Girls Aloud,\u00a0and many others. They also created a recording company, 1-2-3-4 Records, marrying music with style, launching new groups, and hosting a popular, annual music festival in London each summer.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tm.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/amy-molyneux-percy-parker.jpg\" alt=\"amy-molyneux-percy-parker\" title=\"amy-molyneux-percy-parker\" width=\"269\" height=\"410\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-3646\" srcset=\"https:\/\/usa.tm.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/amy-molyneux-percy-parker.jpg 269w, https:\/\/usa.tm.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/amy-molyneux-percy-parker-196x300.jpg 196w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 269px) 100vw, 269px\" \/>Amy, 32, learned the Transcendental Meditation technique when she was 16 years old, and has been practicing TM ever since. \u201cIt\u2019s like extra sleep,\u201d she says, \u201cit boosts your energy, and gives you more clarity and confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Running a record label and organizing promotional events in addition to her creative design and management demands at PPQ leaves Amy little time to recharge her batteries, which is why she makes sure she meditates twice a day. And she would recommend the TM technique to anyone who has to deal with the demands of a high-intensity career.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think people who are at the top of any business definitely need something, because the stress is massive. A lot of them survive on drinking \u2013 not excessively \u2013 or they\u2019re into sport, or they\u2019ve got a really amazing partner who does loads for them. But when you\u2019ve been doing TM for a while you can tell if people are giving the signals that they need a break!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nor is the Transcendental Meditation program just about stress release, says Amy \u2013 it\u2019s about living your full potential.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of people have the attitude \u2018I\u2019m doing OK, so why do I need TM?\u2019 But then they think, well, I could do even better.
